Overview

A revamped service station for a busy urban nook in inner city Brisbane.

In reconstructing BP Newstead, we demolished the former service station, preserving the existing canopy, LPG, and fuel tanks. We then built a modern, split-level BP Service Station with an enhanced forecourt canopy.

We gave the interior a comprehensive retail makeover, improving the fuel services, switchboards, and control systems. The service enhancements included new fuel electrics, plumbing works, a civil stormwater system (SPEL Puraceptor), and an updated trade waste system featuring a grease trap.

As an addition to our initial scope, we improved the pedestrian footpath frontage and crossovers, aligned with council standards and Development Application (DA) requirements. This aspect required detailed coordination in both its design and execution.
