MMD’s Australian HQ in north Brisbane stands as a beacon of purposeful design and innovation, comprising a 2,700sqm workshop facility and a detached two-level office.

The workshop serves as a manufacturing powerhouse geared to build oversized machinery for the mining and mineral processing sectors. The adjacent office is MMD Australia’s headquarters, linked to the workshop by a suspended bridge. Internally, the space boasts a premium fit-out, including timber veneer walls at the main entry and boardroom and a grand central atrium, framed by sleek stainless steel and glass balustrades.

The office is a hub of essential functions, with dedicated sales, maintenance, and engineering areas. Notably, it features a modern boardroom with advanced video conferencing technology for international meetings.

The workshop possesses remarkable industrial capability, outfitted with two 50-tonne overhead gantry cranes that span its entire length, ensuring the handling of heavy-duty tasks efficiently. It also houses large boring machines and lathes, complemented by a comprehensive weld-gas reticulation system. A custom-built spray booth explicitly designed for precision finishing makes this workshop a beacon of advanced manufacturing and engineering excellence.

The site surrounding the facility features a concrete hardstand, an asphalt carpark, an inviting water feature at the entrance, and bio-retention systems for efficient surface water management.
