Coomera Square Shopping Centre’s Wellness Building introduced two specialty tenancies to the popular retail hub. My First Gym and City Cave sit within the upper level, supported by a dedicated undercroft basement carpark carrying essential services, a lobby and bike storage.

We scheduled our program as a continuous construction phase with two separate work fronts: the building pad and external landscaping works. Starting with demolition, we removed the existing asphalt carpark and landscaping, and relocated existing services before undertaking bulk earthworks, piling and stormwater reconfiguration. We formed the building’s structure with a combination of structural steel, concrete and blockwork, followed by installing a vertical lift.

Architectural features include double glazing, CFC cladding, aluminium battens, and general painting in neutral greys; it also features a distinctive roof form that frames and links the structure to its neighbours while activating the street front. A series of new planter boxes and landscaping upgrades complement the building, alongside new pedestrian footpaths, and alterations to existing pedestrian and vehicle linemarking.
