SJH-VIC is leading the design and construction of a $45M aged care redevelopment in Orbost.

Our construction program is in full swing, with demolition complete and groundworks in progress. We’re carefully coordinating each step with Orbost Regional Health to keep their operations running safely and smoothly next door.

Designed by ClarkeHopkinsClarke, the modern, light-filled facility will connect residents to nature and offer a warm, supportive space for those with dementia and complex care needs.

Residents will feel at home in their own bedroom with ensuite, in a setting that fosters dignity, privacy, person-centred care, and independence. The overall layout incorporates the 'small households' concept, with each household featuring its own kitchen, dining area, lounge, and communal sitting spaces.

This project is part of the State Government’s Public Sector Residential Aged Care (PSRACs) initiative. We’re proud to work alongside VHBA to improve regional infrastructure and support higher quality care for older Victorians.
