The VHBA has appointed Higgins to construct a new multi-million-dollar YPARC centre in Heidelberg.

Our latest public health project forms part of the Victorian Government’s $141 million investment into delivering new and refurbished YPARC centres across the state.

YPARC Heidelberg is one of five new centres, providing around-the-clock care and support to young people aged between 16 and 25 experiencing mental health challenges and/or psychological distress.

The Royal Commission highlighted the need for more youth mental health services and we are delivering on that by expanding the YPARC service network right across the state - including in Heidelberg... This YPARC centre in Heidelberg will give more young people access to treatment and care close to their family and loved ones.

YPARC Heidelberg will include 10 bedrooms complete with ensuite bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living areas, breakout spaces and outdoor garden areas.

The spaces were mindfully considered as part of a co-design process. Clinicians, carers and young people with lived and living experience of mental health challenges shared their insights and experiences to help influence the design of the centre.

Higgins takes great pride in contributing to the wellbeing of our next generation through the delivery of another vital health facility. We look forwarding to keeping you informed as we progress on-site.
