This project involved the upgrade to the existing ‘Fresh Food’ precinct at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre across two stages. The purpose for the upgrade was to transform a dark and enclosed space into a brighter, lighter and more open dining area of the thriving shopping centre.
This was achieved through the demolition of existing ceilings and services to create an industrial exposed soffit. The space was painted white, new column cladding and pendant lighting installed, and live plants were included to accomplish the aesthetic goal. Banquet seat joinery booths were fitted alongside loose tables and chairs to deliver seated dining facilities for the surrounding three retail kiosks.
Adjustments to mechanical and base build services were completed to reflect the new layouts that will accommodate future tenancy kiosks.
